Vibrant city

At that time, when I was busy swirling 3 tbsp sugar in my coffee mug and enjoying the leisure at its best,
The rotating wheels on  those wider and cleaner roads, seen outside the window,  along with the streetlights competing the sun and those  living greeneries planted on the side-ends and the dividers, were busy making the city alive at its best.

The city was quietly listening and laughing with that clan of crazy childhood friends on those conversations of remembering those fun and memorable times  of how they use to climb that big door to enter and exit the school on the fun emergencies and then the city was also wishing with them if they could all go back to those good old days.

The city was enjoying the sizzling street food along with that two girls, telling the stall-keeper to make their pani-puris extra spicy even when the water was coming out of their eyes.

The city was learning to bargain with those fruits and vegetables vendors from the very skilled mom bargainers, who were expert enough to bring down the rates to 20 from the final 40.

The city was remaining fit and giving the company to that uncle of age around 55, who recently started walking daily to cure the recently discovered cholesterol as advised by his family doctor.

The city was listening and singing to those classic tunes from the radio with that lady who newly learned to drive the car.

The city was sharing the hunger with that family of balloon-man and then was sharing the food with equal joy, which was given to them by the kind couple .

The city was paying visits to the temples with the thousands of others, and slightly & innocently bribing god with the coconuts and “prasaad” to count on god for making their wishes come true.

The city was playing the guli(lane)-cricket along with those kids requesting to the uncle on 3rd floor of the side building, to give back their ball and promising that they will never break their window again.

The city was quite alive and breathing.I heard the breaths of the city, inhaling the dreams of the people on the street to the people in the ravishing cars and exhaling the inspiring and fresh vibes filled air, to motivate them  to work on their dreams.

Meanwhile, I finished my customized sweeter coffee with a  satisfying smile and awakened thoughts & mind and started to feel more alive.
